About Me

I was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel, to an American mom and an Israeli dad. Our home was located in the hills of Jerusalem and surrounded by one of the last forests in the area. That forest was a huge part of my childhood and a big part of my inspiration to come.
I got my degree in Archaeology from the Hebrew University, with an emphasis on classical times. I loved delving into the mysterious cultures and fashions of times bygone and dreaming of all those treasures out there waiting to be discovered.
Once graduating, and after coming to terms with the fact that finding treasures in the Archaeology field was actually a very rare thing, I realised that I can’t see myself digging as a profession. Back then, I had a strong urge to take some time off and travel the world, experience different cultures and discover amazing locations.
It was during those years of exploration that I started feeling a strong urge to get back to my long lost hobby of creating jewelry.
At that point, my artistic vision was highly influenced by my studies of ancient civilizations as well as the cultures and places I visited along the way during my travels. Top that with my love to animals, flowers, plants and any thing connected to nature, and that’s where my jewelry visions mostly come from.
Back then, when all of this was still just an idea, I envisioned creating a sustainable and kind brand, one that will mirror the deep respect I feel towards nature and our planet, one that will inspire people to bring out their beautiful, kind, caring and good side. As a rule I decided to use along with my main materials of metals, precious metals, fabrics and dried flower only vegan material, such as vegan suede and leather, and combine vintage metal findings where possible, to create unique pieces. I took a vow to be mindful of my footprints as a designer and reuse any scraps of materials to create one-of-a-kind or limited editions pieces, rather then adding them to a landfill. Part of this is also being mindful of the type of packaging I use, which is why I choose to use eco packing materials along with beautiful organza bags and boxes that can be reused or repurposed. And don't be surprised if you find little random gifts of nature in your package, such as a little pinecone, acorn, a piece of moss or a few pressed leaves and flowers. That's just my way to remind you where the true inspiration comes from.
Over the years the vision I had for my brand and my passion of living a sustainable life grew to also include my love for antiques and vintage treasures. It started with me collecting certain items for myself, such as old jewelry boxes, perfume bottles, vanity sets and mirror trays and evolved to now having antiques and vintage items as a big part this brand, and of the magic I'm striving to create here.
Bottom line, although creating Jewelry was a part of my life since a very young age, it took a journey to discover that this is my calling.
My inspiration comes from mythology, history and nature and the mysterious veil that connects the earthly to the heavenly. I feel most inspired when surrounded by nature and I try to portray that energetic and spiritual connection in my designs, using mostly motifs of branches, leaves, flowers and animals.
I believe that every woman has a powerful goddess in her. My jewelry is meant to remind the wearer of her true goddess nature and the magical feminine powers we all possess as woman. My pieces are meant to empower women, bring out their brave side, and remind them that they are strong and beautiful and masters and creators of their own universe. They are able to achieve their dreams in life and they remember to come up with new dreams... Once you envision it, then you can create it. Some times, wearing a crown is all it takes to remind us.
