This small and dainty star hair pin is soldered on a small double teeth hair prong base. Beautiful and useful at the same time, to add an extra charm to a full up-do or half an up-do.
Its used the same way you use a pen or a chop stick to pick up your hair- first of all you twist your hair (or half your hair) into a bun, second- you take the stick, and you start by pushing it from below into the upper corner of the bun. Then, by turning the stick 90 degrees toward the scalp, and by pushing it down into the roots, you get a stable and elegant up-do. The up-do could be made also on the side of the head to achieve a more bohemian look.
