These are the sweetest little porcelain seashell shaped dishes. It’s made by Hampshire Pottery around the end of the 19th century and they are in terrific condition for their age, although they do have a bit of old age stains and some veins in the texture, which is expected due to how old they are and are actually part of the charm.
The rims are decorated with a beautiful gilded design in colors ranging from light mauve, lilac and a pink peach- each one slightly different then the other.
No cracks or chips.
Perfect to display jewellery or any type of small items. You can put some salt on it and keep it by the cooking area. You can put a piece of soap on it. Or just display it for fun. It will make you happy when ever you look at it.
